It’s an Arabic word meaning “tree”.
Shajarah Learning is built on the wise saying “Knowledge is a tree. Actions are its fruits”.
Go to the “Enroll” page and add the course(s) you’d like to your cart. Go to “Checkout” when you’re ready to complete payment. Payment for courses can be made via PayPal (US$) or credit card, bank transfer or cash (TT$ from within T&T only).
Once payment is received, you will receive an email with instructions to access your course on our website. There, you will find all course resources (class links, notes, recordings etc).
Courses for adults are suitable for those over 13, and our children’s courses are great for children between 6 and 12 years old. Age guidelines are listed for each course on the course page. Feel free to contact us if you have further enquiries.
You may want to opt for private tutoring sessions that can be customized for your schedule, level and needs.
Each course page lists class days and times. Please note all times are stated in Atlantic Standard Time AST (GMT -4), the timezone within Trinidad & Tobago. You can compare them to your own time here.
Live classes are conducted using Zoom. Once enrolled in a course, you will be have an account on our student portal, which runs on LearnPress, and is accessible through most browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc). The student portal gives you access to class content, recordings and activities, as well as details on how to access live classes. A desktop or laptop computer is recommended for full functionality on our student portal.
